The Quarrel

This series offers stories about a set of children with whom young readers can identify. Each story addresses an issue or concern of seven year-olds, which provides a discussion point for children to address the issues that need to be covered in the citizenship curriculum. A group of six seven-year-olds are all at school together and the stories look at the dynamics of their inter-relationships featuring jealousy, feeling left out, bullying, theft, teasing, sexism, and cheating.
